Join us in NYC

The worlds of investment accounting and operations have changed a great deal over the past 25 years and continue to evolve today. Part of that evolution has been the creation of IBOR to provide better data for making investment decisions in the front office. Beyond IBOR, data is increasingly in focus as AI use cases are found and implemented across the investment management complex.

Cutter Associates and FundGuard invite you to join a consortium of your peers from the local asset management community for a candid and practical conversation about the evolving trends in the industry as transformation accelerates across platforms to provide more meaningful and timely data to the investment process.

Agenda

Participants in our July 23rd roundtable will discuss:

  1. Co-Sourcing is the new Outsourcing: Explore a growing trend that is moving away from total outsourcing of investment accounting and more towards a co-sourcing approach, and what that means for access to quality data.
Has outsourcing ever really been a thing? Or was it always co-sourcing and we just didn’t call it that?
What’s the difference and what benefits are clients getting from this trend?
  2. ABOR to IBOR – From Revolution to Evolution: Discuss the evolution of IBOR, from the early days when IBOR was created through the evolution of what it has become today. What business problems was it trying to solve? Was it successful? Where is IBOR going next
  3. Investment Data – AI-Ready Data Requires Modern Platforms:
Investment data has always been at the heart of investment management. Gone are the days of investment accounting being the center of the data universe. We’ll focus on how data infrastructure has changed, most recently with AI becoming a major disruptor. What does data quality mean for AI? Are firms achieving data quality enough for AI? What AI use cases are clients finding work?

This will be a closed-door, peer-to-peer forum designed to foster open dialogue and challenge assumptions – with the goal of identifying real, scalable paths forward for the industry.
